Rice Tip
Once rice is done, remove it from the heat and let it stand for a few minutes still covered to help separate the rice grains.

Rice Pudding with Raisins
|
| Ingredients |

1/3 cup rice
-
1/2 cup sugar
-
3 cups milk
-
1 cup water
-
2 eggs
-
1/2 cup raisins
-
1/4 tsp nutmeg
|
| Directions |

Cook rice in 1 Cup water in double boiler until
water is absorbed.

Add 2 Cups milk.

Cook until rice is tender.

Add the other 1
cup of milk, the sugar, well beaten eggs, raisins, nutmeg.

Bake until custard is set.
