Rice Tip

Add a few drops of lemon juice to your water to help keep grains from sticking to each other.

No-Peek Chicken

Ingredients
  • 1 cup instant rice                       
  • 1 pkg, dried onion soup
  • 1 cup water                                
  • 1 can mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 can cream of celery soup          
  • 1 whole chicken, cut in reg. pieces
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

 

Directions
  1. Cover bottom of 8x12 pan with rice.
  2. Mix celery and mushroom soup and (mushrooms if you like), with water.
  3. Pour over rice.
  4. Place chicken pieces on top of rice.
  5. Sprinkle dried onion soup over the chicken.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 hours.
  7. Keep covered until done. Do not peekl
