Add a few drops of lemon juice to your water to help keep grains from sticking to each other.

Easy Chicken and Rice Soup
|
| Ingredients |
-
1 pkg, long grain &
wild rice mix - (quick cooking)
-
5 cups water
-
1 lb. ground chicken
-
1/3 cup seasoned bread
crumbs
-
Dash of celery salt, salt and pepper
-
1 12 oz. can evaporated
milk, chilled 2 Tbsp. flour

| Directions |

Mix
chicken, crumbs, celery salt, salt and pepper.

Shape
into small meatballs and cook over low heat until no longer pink,

In a large
sauce pan, combine rice and water.

Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and
simmer 5 minutes.

Combine chilled milk and flour until well blended.
-
Add to hot
rice mixture, stir until slightly thickened.

Add meatballs, stir and cook 1
minute more.
